Michelle previously worked in Mississauga, and then Stittsville, in Animal Hospitals, for a combined ~11 years, then returned to her hometown area of Espanola when her first daughter was born. She was pleased to be able to join the Gray Street Team in September 2019, offering care to her community, and return to the animal health field once again, after several years serving in the human medical field.
Like many animal care workers, each pet Michelle has had, have all been rescued animals, including her current pets Jax, Purrcy and Marv, and she still now continues to be a foster parent for a few rescues when the need arises.
In her downtime, Michelle enjoys living camp life at her family cottage, paddle boarding, playing the occasional golf game, and continues to play baseball.
